About Dr Margo McKern
Dr Margo McKern, joins our team to assist us to provide the best breast specialist care to our patients. Margo has many years of experience, having trained as a General Practitioner and Breast Physician.
She graduated from UNSW in 1983 and worked in General Practice for 10 years then specialised in Women’s Health and obtained the Fellowship of the Australasian Society of Breast Physicians (FASBP) in 2008. Margo works at the Sydney Breast Clinic and the Integrated Breast Health Clinic at Macquarie University. She has previously worked in the Strathfield Breast Centre, as a colleague of Prof David Gillett, and with me at the Sydney Breast Clinic.
Her specialty is surveillance for breast cancer, high-risk monitoring, benign breast pathology, and management of breast implants.
