Whilst breast surgery can be performed by any general surgeon, a Breast Surgeon has undergone additional training to specialise in breast surgical techniques, and is dedicated to caring for patients with breast conditions only.
Dr Belinda Chan focuses on breast cancer treatment and regularly keeps up to date on the latest advances in breast surgery with her colleagues around the world.
Dr Chan performs breast surgery at Strathfield Private Hospital, Chris O’Brien Lifehouse (private or public), and Macquarie University Hospital.

Dr Rewena Keegan is skilled at assessing and treating breast symptoms, interpreting breast radiology, caring for patients who have had previous breast cancer, as well as diagnosing new cancers and ensuring a timely and smooth transition to the surgical pathway.
Breast Specialists enable patients who have been referred but do not necessarily need to see a breast surgeon, to be seen and investigated thoroughly in a timely manner.
